Mental Health Division to Close Temporarily for Training

Health Commissioner Julia Sheen announced today that Division of Mental Health, Alcoholism, and Drug Dependency Services will close on March 9-10 and on March 11, 2010, on St. Croix and St. Thomas, respectively, for staff training.

The training will be hosted by Caribbean Basin and Hispanic Addiction Technology Transfer Center and National Institute on Drug Abuse Liaison Initiative. 

Sheen said that clinic and administrative activities for clients have been rescheduled and that she regrets any inconvenience to clients.

Services will resume on Friday, March 12, 2010.
