My Bikini Belly Review
Wassup Health Fanatics!
Hopefully you’re having a beautiful day, and you’re ready to work for a healthy body that you can be proud of.
In today’s episode of Real Weight Loss Reviews, I’ve got a product that’s specifically for ladies over 35 years old. I’m going to be going through My Bikini Belly by Shawna Kaminski and determining whether or not this workout program is worth your time and investment. Shawna says that her workouts will help you to reveal your bikini belly in just 21 days. She also claims that her workout method activates your metabolism and is “…programmed to work WITH your menopause gene and perfectly match your current hormonal state.”
Pretty big claims. Let’s see if she can deliver.
I’m Not Affiliated With Shawna Kaminski Or The My Bikini Belly Product
Just so you know, I’m not affiliated with this product in any way whatsoever. I’m just a guy with a health and fitness background that loves to review weight loss products. I do this in hopes that your time and money is invested wisely in products that deliver value to you so that you can live a healthier, happier life.
The 15-Second My Bikini Belly Review
If you’re wanting the bitesize My Bikini Belly review, here it is:
Don’t buy this product.
It’s a simple workout program that you could easily find on the internet for free. It’s too small and isn’t worth your money and time. Please, for your sake and mine, don’t buy this product.
If you’re for the full review, get ready for a bumpy and controversial ride.
After Purchasing The Product, I Encountered Some Upsells
So I made the initial purchase, and ol’ Shawna Kaminski decided to sell me a diet plan that can apparently double my results.
After I had refused this offer, she tried to sell me yet another workout program that can “…erase up to 1.43 pounds of stubborn belly flab every day…”
I declined this offer too, hoping just to access the My Bikini Belly product. But good ol’ Shawna had different plans for me as she tried to sell me yet another weight loss-related product.
Like seriously? Can I just access the friggen product without being sold something? Geez.
My Bikini Belly Is Extremely Short And Doesn’t Contain Enough Valuable Information
So I finally got to the product. The initial purchase includes three books on a fancy looking website.
The basis of the product is the Quick Start Guide and the Workout Guide. An Exercise Guide is included but not necessarily required, considering the fact that the My Bikini Belly workouts are bodyweight workouts using only a few bodyweight movements.
The thing that surprised me the most was the fact that the Quick Start Guide and the Workout Guide have a combined total page length of a whopping, tremendous 18 Pages! Oh, and that’s including the cover and disclaimer pages.
My Health Fanatic Friends, if you buy this so-called “belly-fat burning, revolutionary workout” product, you’re literally buying an 18-page workout product that’s filled with information you can find for free on the internet.
To top that off, My Bikini Belly is a product that’s meant to help you burn fat. Burning fat means losing weight, and to lose weight you need to be in a caloric deficit. Being in a caloric deficit is the number one requirement for weight loss to occur. Once again, I’ve found a product that claims to help you burn fat but doesn’t even have the decency to mention this weight-loss rule.
I guess this review of My Bikini Belly is off to a bad start.
The Product Is Predicated Off Of A Faulty Principle
Shawna’s claim is that you can burn fat specifically on your belly without worrying about the other areas of your body. This principle is called Spot Reduction. She claims throughout the product and sales page that this workout method will help you burn your belly fat without worrying about the other areas of your body.
She even goes the extra mile in saying that regular exercise actually has a negative effect on your body.
So Shawna, if you think that you’re able to burn fat specifically in the area of your body that you choose, why is it that researchers from Yale themselves have said that you’re not able to spot reduce fat? They said that “…fat loss comes down not to targeted exercises, but to the basic principle of how many calories you expend versus how many you take in. Doing 100 crunches a day can effectively strengthen your abdominal muscles, but it probably will not make them any more visible unless you also take other steps to reduce your overall body fat.”
The majority of fitness experts know for a fact that you can’t spot-reduce fat. There are also multiple studies proving that spot reduction isn’t possible and that instead fat is lost cumulatively. Let’s use tennis as an example – tennis players use one of their arms much more than the other. This study showed that a group of tennis players had the same amount of fat on both their arms. The team of researchers found that, “…no significant difference in the thickness of subcutaneous fat over the muscles of the arm receiving more exercise as compared to the arm receiving less exercise.”
Another group of researchers examined the effect that resistance training has on a group of 104 participants and their non-dominant arm. They used an MRI scan, and the same results were reached; the researchers concluded that “…spot reduction does not occur as a result of resistance training.”
And if that doesn’t convince you, let me ask you this: Have you ever seen a person with a flat, toned six-pack but jiggly thighs and arms and a fat, overweight face? Don’t think so.
My Bikini Belly Final Rating: D+
My Bikini Belly is an overpriced workout product that contains free information at a cost. To top that off, it includes unrealistic projections and it doesn’t even include the number 1 principle that’s required for you to lose weight. To say that you can have a flat belly in 21 days or less is an unrealistic, overgeneralized claim.
Your money and time are better invested in other products that are the same price but offer much more value. If you’re older than 30 years old, I highly recommend you check out my review of Old School New Body. The product is affordable and provides a ton more value than this lousy product.
