I’ll be reviewing Anabolic Running by Joe LoGalbo. Joe has made a bunch of click-bait claims on his sales page – right smack bang at the top of the page, he poses the question, “Could It Really Be Possible For Normal Guys To Build Head-Turning Muscle,Demolish Stubborn Fat, And Ramp Up Their Sexual Performance Just From Running 16 Minutes Per Week?”

He follows by saying that he’s found a strategy that science has proven to increase growth hormone by 530%. He says that this approach will help you burn stacks of belly fat, build stacks of muscle, and help us men to remain a “king in the bedroom” as he calls it.

All of the common claims about building muscle, burning fat, increasing testosterone, and increasing growth hormone in a short amount of time. Let’s see if Joe LoGalbo’s Anabolic Running product can deliver on its sales claims.

Anabolic Running Review At A Glance

I’ll be completely honest with you Health Fanatics – the product isn’t AMAZING; it’s not like you experiencing your first bite of pepperoni pizza with extra cheese, leaving you to literally ask yourself the question, “what is life?” because of how amazing it tastes.

It’s more like your 5th or 6th bite of pizza, it’s still pretty damn good. The “secret strategy” Joe talks about has been proven by science to increase testosterone, growth hormone, overall caloric expenditure, and all that jazz. He’s also included some extra content that enhances the value of the product, and the fact that it’s only $15 makes me feel comfortable to recommend this product to you guys and gals.

As with the majority of the other products I’ve reviewed, there were some upsells being offered after the initial purchase of Anabolic Running.

I’m 99% sure the information they provide in the upsells are free (heck, even the information found in Anabolic Running can be found for free with some elbow grease and Google). However, these products are valuable because of convenience; you don’t have to spend tens, if not hundreds of hours doing your own research on the internet. I’d take time to go through the upsells, see if it’s the products being offered interest you. If not, you can just skip them all.

Unfortunately, after attempting to skip the last upsell, I was taken to a broken URL, where I had to stop the post-purchase process and check my email to access my downloads that were being hosted on Dropbox.

At this point, the fact that the broken DNS server incidence occurred already put me in the state of mind that “this product is just going to be another product that I’m gonna have to completely decimate with my honest, blunt, authentic writing style.” But, Joe completely flipped those expectations when I jumped into the product.

Firstly – 15 Bucks Is A Complete Bargain

I mean, for only 15 dollars, you can get some REALLY high-quality information on exercise, running, weight training, etc. Over here in New Zealand, 15 dollars is a well-sized meal for 1 person at McDonalds, so investing the same amount of money into your health is much more beneficial.

It’s a bunch of guides with information on increasing testosterone, High-Intensity Interval Training, bodyweight resistance training, and just other general workout information. I went through all of the products, and it’s all good quality stuff. So the first reason why I can recommend this product to you is because of how cheap it is, and how much quality information that Joe has provided to you.

Second – There’s Video To Support The Exercises

As well as the exercises that Joe has said to perform, he’s also included video content to accompany the exercises, so you’re not left just to try and figure out how to carry out the exercises yourself.

To be honest, even the text information would be enough considering the fact that it’s only 15 bucks, but Joe went the extra mile to provide video examples for you. What a pal.

Other Random Tidbits Of Anabolic Running Information

There were a couple of other points that I thought would be worth mentioning.

Firstly, the “secret strategy” that helps you build muscle, burn fat, and increase testosterone isn’t’ actually that secret. It’s just Interval Training. Now, be aware that even though I’m not saying it’s a secret doesn’t mean that I’m saying it’s not effective. There have been multiple studies showing how High-Intensity Interval Training trumps steady state cardio from particular perspectives:

  1. This study published by the School of Medical Science at the University of NSW says that “…emerging research examining high-intensity intermittent exercise (HIIE) indicates that it may be more effective at reducing subcutaneous and abdominal body fat than other types of exercise.”
  2. This study confirms the increase of Growth Hormone that comes with HIIT, “…it is suggested that the exercise-induced increase in GH could have important physiological effects in this group of athletes, including increased protein synthesis and sparing of protein degradation leading to maintained or increased muscle mass.”
  3. And this study confirmed an increase in testosterone from Interval Training compared to steady state exercise by concluding that, “These findings suggest IE might produce a more pronounced turnover of FT (free testosterone) by androgen sensitive tissue than the SSE form of exercise.”

Secondly, I want you to know that in regards to the intervals he recommends, I highly suggest you stay away from them and customize your HIIT program to yourself. I saw some pretty outrageous intervals being recommended, and in my opinion, they’re a bit too difficult for people to perform.

I mean, it is the Advanced workout, but even a 45-second sprint is far too long for someone to do unless they’re extremely fit or Usain Bolt.

And lastly, the “secret sauce” formula could have been summed up in a single answer. But Joe takes a bit to explain the ins and outs of why HIIT is superior to steady state exercise in a number of ways.

It’s good to know the reason why something works as it motivates you more to want to do it. For example, if I said you should be doing Interval Training, you might just ignore it. But, if I said you’ll increase fat loss, increase growth hormone, and all that other fancy benefits you want to hear, then it motivates you to take action.

Final Rating: A-

Like I said, it’s not necessarily a weight loss product because it doesn’t include much/any information on dieting and such. But, considering the fact that it’s only $15, the amount of quality exercise information that’s provided, and the video content to support it, makes me feel comfortable recommending this product to you.
