Program Services

The Human Resources office works with all divisions in the Department of Health and outside agencies. In coordination with DOH divisions, the Human Resources Office designs programs that support and enhance the DOH mission. The office also provides leadership in planning and developing personnel policies and programs that support and enhance the department as it relates to employment, compensation, position classification, employee development and benefits, performance management, labor relations, technical assistance and applicable personnel law, regulations and policies.

To obtain information regarding vacancies, contact the Human Resources Offices located in the Charles Harwood Complex, St. Croix and Knud Hansen Towers Building, St. Thomas. Vacancies are also advertised with Division of Personnel and the Department of Labor.
