Health Commissioner Dr. Mercedes K.C. Dullum is pleased to announce that the Department has been given the green light to move forward with a paid training program to recruit emergency medical technicians (EMTs) in much the same way that the VI Police Department recruits police officers.

DOH's "Be Food Safe Crew" Conducts Inspections of Carnival Booths
The Environmental Health Division, assisted by other staff from the Virgin Islands Department of Health, inspected a total of 33 booths in the Adult Village named for Patricia Miller; 5 food stands in the Children’s Village and various vendors participating outside the immediate areas, as part of our Be Food Safe Campaign.
